People living in Wichita are telling the city council what they think about the proposed budget.

People don’t want to lose their libraries, golf courses and other neighborhood amenities.

In a year where the city is struggling to balance its budget and add to public safety, some say, “don’t cut at my home.”

The library is a place of learning, and retired Wichita teacher Kurt Kerns is worried about the possibility of evergreen library closing.
