Sedgwick County organizations receive grants for public health, safety programs
Four Sedgwick County organizations have been awarded grants to support public health and safety programs, Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt announced today. City of Wichita Police Department will receive $224,850 to purchase various technology and equipment upgrades. Episcopal Social Services will receive $63,771 to support mental health services. StepStone will receive $39,725 to support training for trauma-informed response to crime victims for law enforcement officers.
