Strother Field is among the beneficiaries of the recently passed federal infrastructure package to provide $15 billion for airport-related projects of urban, regional and rural airports across the country. According to manager Shawn McGrew, Strother Field will receive $159,000 a year for the next five years in addition to $150,000 a year in standard funding.
