Taxpayers in the Winfield school district would pay the same property tax rate under the district’s proposed 2019-2020 budget.
The mill levy would stay flat at 50.981, the same as the 2018-2019 levy, which is a little lower than the previous year of 50.995.
The assessed valuation is $119,636,073, up from 2018-2019.
The owner of a $150,000 house in the Winfield school district would pay $960 in real estate tax to the school district, including $81 for the Winfield Recreation Commission.
