Geary County Commission works to trim the budget proposals down

The Geary County Commission has been busy trimming budget requests down as they prepare the 2020 county spending plan.

Commission Chairman Charles Stimatze aid they still have to cut $14,064 to get under the property tax lid. “Try to get it down to where we don’t raise it period, about 1.265 mills.”
