The temporary Labette Health Oswego Clinic and Express Care will open Monday at 608 Commercial in Oswego, the former home of Sonic Drive-in.
Clinic hours will be 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays. Labette Health is still working on a permanent location for future health care in Oswego and also is working with Chetopa for a clinic site.
The clinic site will have seven staff, two providers, two medical assistants, two clinic coordinators and a housekeeper. The two providers will be Amy Smith and Cindi Major. Both are certified advanced practice registered nurses.
Labette Health’s clinic will offer primary care and express care, lab draws and electrocardiograms. The temporary site will have 2,016 square feet with four exam rooms and one procedure room.
The hospital will make an announcement soon about a permanent location in Oswego and its plans.
Labette also is working to open a medical clinic in Chetopa.
