Two designs chosen as finalists in Augusta’s flag contest

Augusta residents have the opportunity to vote for their favorite design in the contest for the City of Augusta’s official flag.
The panel of judges for the contest have narrowed the field down to two outstanding designs.
The judges were impressed with the quality of the designs submitted, and the judging process was a difficult one.
All flags were judged based on the design and description and the designer’s identity was kept a secret. After much consideration, the judges selected two flag designs they felt captured the spirit of our city, its history, and its citizens.
