A controversy concerning political signs in Haysville comes to a solution with the city passing an ordinance that complies with state law.
In accordance with the state, yard signs can now be displayed for up to 45 days leading up to an election. The previous law in the city only allowed political signs to remain up for two weeks before they had to be taken down.
Haysville’s mayor made a case for the previous law , but ultimately the city agreed stepping in line with state law was the best course of action to take.
