The Reno County Commission approved an updated county social media policy that includes guidelines for employees’ personal social media accounts, as they relate to county employment. Human Resources Director Helen Foster said the previous social media policy only covered the use of official county social media accounts. “It’s become an issue that we know that we need to have a social media policy in place about what is OK for employees to use, even on their personal accounts, when it has to do with work,” Foster said.
