Projected natural gas prices for the coming months were discussed at Thursday’s Winfield City Commission work session, as the effects of record high gas prices during February’s cold snap continue. The average market price for natural gas one year ago was $2.07 per Metric Million British Thermal Unit (MMBtu), according to Winfield City Manager Taggart Wall.
