The novel coronavirus scuttled a public open house, but Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy celebrated 10 years of operation at its nacelle and hub assembly facility in Hutchinson on Thursday by serving a barbecue lunch to employees.Since opening, the Hutchinson facility has completed nearly 5,000 nacelles, shipping to 16 U.S. states, as well as Canada, Chile and Peru.
