The Big Pool in Garden City is closing in the summer of 2021 for renovations that are supposed to fix the problems the pool has dealt with for years.
The pool will be open the rest of the 2019 summer season as well as for 2020. However, it is set to close in 2021 for a complete new look. Residents have been coming to this pool since it opened in 1922, and one that has lived in Garden City since 1958 said it’s going to be hard to leave behind.
