LENEXA, Kan. —
The U-Haul Companies of southern Kansas and northern Kansas are offering 30 days of free self-storage and U-Box container usage to residents in and around Kansas City impacted by Tuesday night’s severe weather.“The tornado was so large, it caused miles of destruction,” said Gary Wittkopp, president of U-Haul Company of Northern Kansas. “There are downed trees and power lines, and damaged homes. The impact has created a need for self-storage as our neighbors go through the clean-up process and require a place to bring their possessions. We want to help by offering one month of free self-storage to those in need.”
