Could this be a sign of what’s to come? Historic Kansas buildings crumbling and crashing to the ground? It happened to one in Greenwood County.
Residents in Eureka woke up to a historic building in downtown scatted on the road. Thankfully no one was hurt, but the city administrator says the discovery is an eye-opener for the city and other small towns.
"The bricks from the top came tumbling down, it just happened in an instant," said Greg Colangelo, building owner.
Like a tornado…is how the building owner says his son described the building collapse from Thursday morning.
