Finney County GIS Department Director Trey Phillips recently was awarded Esri Technical Certification, which recognizes superior skill levels utilizing Esri’s software for geographic information systems (GIS).
Esri is the global market leader in GIS, and developed ArcGIS the world’s leading mapping and location analytics platform.
Phillips earned the Esri ArcGIS Desktop Professional Certification, which is the highest level of professional software certification in this field. Only 200 GIS professionals in the United States are registered with this certification. Phillips is the only Esri ArcGIS Desktop Professional listed for the state of Kansas.
“Trey is a valuable employee with an abundance of skills,” Randall Partington, Finney County Administrator, said in a news release. “His recent certification solidifies how essential he is to our organization and as a community partner. We are proud of Trey’s professional accomplishments.”
