City public works director to answer questions about streets in podcast

Topekans still have a lot of questions about their streets.

The Topeka Capital-Journal consequently asked city public works director Jason Peek, who responded to 35 queries about that topic in July, to answer about 40 more.

Peek agreed to do that during a podcast/Facebook Live event, which will be held at noon Tuesday at CJOnline and The Topeka Capital-Journal Facebook page.

Streets have been the topic of many of the questions the public has provided The Capital-Journal this year through its reader engagement program ”#TopCity What? You ask. We answer.” Details about the program are at www.cjonline.com/topcity-what.

Tuesday’s podcast comes at a time when Topeka streets have been a common topic of conversation.
