Atwoods, which is in the 6200 block of North Broadway, has decided to remain in Park City but open a new and larger location in Echo Hills.

“They were going to Maize and I had to convince them not to do it,” said City Administrator Jack Whitson. “I worked with Mike Loveland because the price of the lots was way too high for Atwoods. Whitson said the city did not want to see Atwoods leave after the recent loss of True Value. The store’s commitment to Echo Hills has made the city feel comfortable moving forward with infrastructure improvements and Whitson hopes that will be the boost others need to start building.
