Leavenworth residents now have the opportunity to hear from city officials through podcasts.
Leavenworth Mayor Mark Preisinger and City Manager Paul Kramer have recorded two of the audio recordings so far.
Kramer said city officials are looking for suggestions from members of the public regarding topics for future podcasts.
“We’re trying to get some public feedback on topics they want to hear about,” he said.
Kramer said the podcasts can provide more insight into topics than what people would receive from a city news release.
