In September, the City of Topeka will host a community improvement program to encourage positive action in local neighborhoods.
The program, Topeka Neighborhood University, is a leadership training hosted by NeighborWorks America.
NeighborWorks America is an organization that trains and conducts assessments of nearly 250 NeighborWorks organizations nationwide to provide training to neighborhood leaders and community partners. It assists communities with affordable housing and community development initiatives through building skills and supplementing resources of the organizations they work with.
