They needed multiple ribbon cuttings in Valley Center on the 4th of July, as the community came out to dedicate a new “community hub.”
The hub includes a new community center, library and dog park. The entire process taking about three years and costing a little more than two-million dollars.
“What we did is pretty astounding in the fact that in three years the people in this room and many more people that aren’t here today did something that we had worked 20 maybe 30 years, I’ve heard, to accomplish,” said Valley Center Mayor Laurie Dove.
