The city of Goddard has recently started to use an interactive online map to indicate areas of crime through the city. The map allows community members to sign up for email notifications for crimes that occur within a specific area.
Goddard police chief Fred Farris told the The Times Sentinel that the technology, which is provided by Lexis Nexis, was easy to set up and link with department management systems.
